About Us
Our Story
Begin With The Children was developed by the World Peace Parents Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families and communities through intentional, values-based parenting.
Originally launched in 2003 as a community service initiative for Rotary Clubs, the foundation evolved in response to a deeper need: equipping parents with timely, relevant, and practical guidance throughout the full parenting journey.
What began as a community outreach tool has become a nationally accessible program offering free, age-specific parenting support to families across the United States and beyond.
Our Mission
The Foundations mission is to strengthen families as the basic unit of society by providing parents with the best ideas, information, and principles available to help them become more productive parents rearing responsible adults. For more than 22 years, we have been an advocate for parental rights in our community.
What Makes Us Unique
Begin With The Children is unlike any other parenting program.
Here’s why:

Free and Accessible
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, offering our full program—from prenatal to age 18—at no cost to families.

Stage-Based Structure
Our content follows the Six Stages of Parenthood, delivering just what parents need, when they need it.

Bite-Sized & Evidence-Based
Each KinderKronicle is brief, easy to read, and grounded in proven child development research and best practices.

Culturally Aware, Universally Applicable
Built for diverse families and communities, our materials reflect core values like love, responsibility, and mutual respect.
How It Works
Our approach is based on three foundational principles adapted from the National Academy of Medicine’s Parenting Matters framework:
What We Do
We help parents grow—right alongside their children.
Through our free, research-based program, parents receive monthly KinderKronicle issues tailored to their child’s age and stage. Each issue includes practical tips, relevant guidance, and encouraging insights to support intentional parenting beginning at the beginning of pregnancy.
